Rodent Control in the Excelsior

The Excelsior runs along Mission Street east of San Jose Avenue, south of I-280. It takes in Mission Terrace, the Outer Mission and Crocker-Amazon, and its streets are famously named for world capitals and countries. Emanuel Lewis built about 200 houses here that sold after the 1906 earthquake, and row houses are a big part of the neighborhood today.

John McLaren Park sits just to the east. Homes near the park edge have a lot of green cover close by.

Row Houses and Garages

Like the Sunset, a lot of the Excelsior is attached houses. Rodents move along a block through shared walls and connected backyards. Garages and storage rooms on the ground floor are where Norway rats settle in. See garage and basement rodents.
